Recovery of the water-based paint is ever-present and yields a high return. For this in particular, LBtec Indufinish has added condensation walls to its range. These walls consist of a water-cooled exchanger upon which the overspray is precipitated. As the air around condenses on the Teflon laminate covering the stainless steel in front of the plate, the overspray cannot dry out. A skimmer catches the paint in a gutter and returns it.
As a result of using condensation walls, up to 60% of the overspray can be re-used thus making considerable savings in paint and filter materials.
