Corrosion of the building and surrounding equipment, as well as less than ideal conditions of employment are familiar problems in the metal industry. In conjunction with the TNO (Dutch Institute for applied scientific research), LBtec Indufinish has developed a concept to solve this problem. In addition to accommodation used in previously existing, as well as new, situations, this concept also provides integrated steam extraction and cleaning. The concept is set up in modules and can be adapted or extended as required. In this way, for example, using loose modules it is possible to reach a solution incorporating a single wall construction in combination with spatial extraction and steam cleaning.
